Re: I wouldn't fly to DC

I want to like flying, and I've made some good experiences for leisure by finding the only 777 flight from Miami to Seattle a few years ago. But overall, flying in America does not match the experiences of high end restaurants and hotels. It is too much like going to Target. 737-800's are too loud, and are all of them hot with no air or is it just a southwest thing?
But the time waiting for a plane after the 7 mile walk, the layovers overall (duration or distance) feel incredibly inefficient and a massive time waste.
And the baggage claim is werid. The last 4 flights I had those bags were at the claim before I got there, and in the big cities, anyone can walk up and take the bag. I've seen some videos of democrats going through bags at airports like it was an amazon box.

There's something not right about the system. Why am I doing Spirit to go to an overpriced luxery resort?

There is some redemption if you are originating from a small airport. But the layovers.
