Black Lives matter's birth came about during a very violent episode where George Floyd was sufficated to death as the story went. There was a good deal of truth to it and most Americans saw some change was badly needed. The tragedy was those who became the leaders of BLM were for most part grifters out to get rich. And they enriched themselves with fancy cars, homes and lush vacations. Sad it came to that because many Black people who really needed help were left out in the cold.I think the meaning of the organization when founded was good and I supported it....at first. So sorry for what it became because of the leadership. But I insist, the idea at first had a hell of a lot of merit. |
