Posted by alm on Tue Mar 11 11:35:01 2025 I filed our federal tax return early. I wanted to get it in before a possible government shutdown on March 15th.We owed money, and I specified that the money should be withdrawn from our checking account on March 7th. Well, here it is March 11th, no money withdrawn, no one to call at the IRS to ask about it. I suppose if it doesn't get withdrawn by April 14th, I'll just pay again and hope they don't ever find the original request. But it's going to waste a lot of my time. |
