From what Im hearing, he has some serious back issues that required surgery and placement of several 3 inch rods in his spine. This resulted in constant pain which was dealt with by Oxycodone
One of the side effects of that stuff can be a psychotic reaction.
Maybe when he gets back to NYC (which will happen someday), his lawyers might be laying the groundwork for an insanity defense based on these painkillers. His family has big bucks, therefore a quality attorney and not some legal aid rookie might be handling the case.
