Think of how different the world wound have been had JFK lived and went on to serve a 2nd term. Story goes that he was ready to implement an executive order to pull out all US "advisors" from Viet Nam. "Its their war" he was heard to say.When LBJ took over, he tore up that order and went on to escalate the war and US involvement. The rest is history. |
