Posted by Orange Blossom Special on Wed Nov 13 12:30:17 2024 A police officer in Gloucestershire has been arrested on suspicion of supporting the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas.The officer was detained yesterday by counterterrorism police who said the suspected support is related to his online activity. He said: “The arrest of a serving officer on suspicion of such a serious offence will no doubt cause our communities concern, as it does everyone who works for Gloucestershire Police. Expressing support for a proscribed terrorist group is illegal, as stated under section 12 of the Terrorism Act. ========== I wonder how many in London should be investigated, or in the midlands? |
