Maybe there’s some Democrat who would be better but that’s ridiculous, because they didn’t run and weren’t the incumbent VP.First, I’m a social liberal, the party of the even jellicles and anti-abortion is not for me. I don’t want an abortion or a sex change, but I absolutely believe in the rights of others to do that. Back in the day, the only thing about the Republicans that appealed to me were the economic and fiscal policies, those have been roundly abandoned by Trump in favor of economic poopulism, which I also oppose, and in that case that’s not even just a personal belief like with the social policy, it will actually make our country poorer. So on both economic and social/cultural issues there’s only one party I like. |
