The amount of commerce and business on one block of buildings, with everything that you ACTUALLY NEED, is amazing. I often wonder about the economic impact of such streets in 1924.Who knew converting everything, including shops, to useless (and made up) business services and bullcrap non-value enhancing jobs would fail. good riddance. As much as I like the historic buildings though. |
