OJ Simpson was admitted to the college football hall of fame in 1983 and the pro football hall of fame in 1985. Despite his crimes, he is still honored in both venues.Now sports gambling is legal, if fact, a flourishing industry yet our morality will not let us forgive poor old Pete his transgressions. Yet as we legalize pot, we look to let those convicted of its use, out of jail but pete must remain the intractable example. Let's forgive Andrew weiner and Andrew cuomo. May they rise from their own ashes but Pete rose must forever suffer for his sins. He will prove us a moral people. |
