Sure he has no one to blame for his problems but himself, like any other addict. And You're right that when Giamatti died, his chances of getting into the hall evaporated. The plan was that in two years he was going to appeal his lifetime ban and expected it to be overturned. But Fay Vincent, Giamatti's successor was a hard liner and kept the ban in place. The rest as they say is history |
