Don't have to be a lawyer to answer that one.The City Charter says there has to be a hearing where the removed official is given a chance to defend himself. This is totally not associated with any criminal proceedings. All 4 possibilities exist: the official is successful or not successful at the hearing, and ditto at his criminal trial. |
