If the Irish are Republican, Massachusetts would not be solid blue for so many decades.Comedian Kathy Griffin is a snap shot of how Irish-Catholic women in the US feel about Republicans. The men are different. They are not as dedicated to Democrats. Overall the Irish-Catholic community is socially conservative even though they lean Democrat. Don't forget Planned Parenthood but that started a long time ago. It was founded by Irish-Catholic women. |
