He may not have won any primaries but however many votes he had in 1968 it was more than Kamala had in 2024.And? What difference does it make? In February he was still skillful enough a negotiator to make a deal with Mike Johnson on aid to Israel and Ukraine that really wasn't what Johnson wanted the deal to be. In July he couldn't hold his own in a debate with Trump, who is pretty much of a loser when it comes to debating. Something happened. One of the many possibilities that was anticipated in the detailed nomination rules that the Democratic Party has put together. |
