When (not if) congestion prices kicks in in NYC, all merchandise that comes in by truck south of 60th St. will have a surcharge on its goods to pay for the "toll" required. Those extra charges will be passed down to the consumers. Do you expect those charges to absorbed by the trucking Co or the shippers??I don't think so. |
