Yes.He also fucked up COVID, causing hundreds of thousands of deaths* He realigned the federal courts towards the right. That’s what any Republican president would have done, but it still counts, just not something that makes him worse than a formerly mainstream Republican. And he destroyed one of the two major parties in this country and turned it into a cult of personality centered around himself. He mainstreamed authoritarianism. He took Putin’s side at Helsinki. He stopped TPP. He pulled out of the Iran deal without an adequate replacement. He signed the surrender to the Taliban that Biden implemented. *Not all deaths can be attributed to him since a competent response would have still had many people dying. |
