HmmI love watching folks talk about "welfare$", without actually "talking about Welfare". Especially "white people",who created the Welfare System for the expressed purpose of controling and manipulation of "poor families". Which is also funny, being that there were more "Whites" on public assistance than "blacks", and the rules that were placed On black families were different than whites. Being directly involved with Social Services, dealing with clients from different races... perception is one thing, and truth is another. Welfare is the results of social eugenics, controling family structure, and a direct attack on people of Color. Rules designed to break up families, keep poor families far below the "poverty line". Explaining the "ins and outs" of the System would be far too long of a post...but let's just say that it wasn't created to "help people" in the way you think it does. It's a CONTROL MECHANISM designed to keep the impoverished chained to poverty, and "other things". |
