I agree EVs aren't for everyone yet. I wouldn't rent one at the moment.

But your citing of (6) means you're really swallowing the propaganda.

Compare lithium extraction (which needs to be done better, I agree) with the environmental damage of oil drilling, PLUS the environmental damage of global warming.
