Right now it would be Governor Ron DeSantis who has done a great job as Florida's governor as his state has had a booming economy, an great influx of new residents taken in by the prosperity and low taxes in his state. For sure, there are mealy mouths there who chaff as what they say is his hard nosed nature but the vast majority of residents support him. Hispanics voted for him in overwhelming numbers. He could use some work to win over more black voters though. In my opinion his own party hijacked him when he was attacked by Democrats and very few of his own party members defended him as if they were in Trump's corner all the way.When the campaign started though, Senator Tim Scott was my guy but for reasons I cannot understand his party comrades never warmed up to him. I think that was a real blunder on their part as I thought the guy had a very good chance of being elected. |
