Posted by ntrainride on Fri Dec 29 18:42:45 2023, in response to Re: Very Pessimistic About 2024, posted by Jeff Rosen on Fri Dec 29 16:56:29 2023. really, most of the country doesn't understand new york city. completely different in many ways to any other place. to me, the amazing thing is, millions of people crowded on the sunway literally always...and almost 100 % of the time, everyone gets where they're headed to no problems. the vibrancy of our town (and yes, it's always gonna be my town even if i'm currently in florida.) felt like home soon as i got off the peter pan was up there 3 weeks ago. rode subways, buses, trains, was in times square, astoria, bay shore, mastic)also, practically every person who bitches about the "dangers" of riding mass transit, in ny and around the country don't actually seem to ride mass transit. |
