A couple of years ago, I saw a man checking himself out at the quieter side of the store when that entrance was still open. He scanned a couple of products and paid from them. While the "remember to grab your receipt" recording played, he dumped all the other items still in his shopping basket directly into a couple of plastic bags, picked everything up, and walked right out.The weight sensor surfaces at that store's self-checkouts don't enforce anything for some reason. They all seem to be disabled. |
