That's not true. My problem with bans is that they do not include medical exceptions to protect the health of the woman. Upon the finding of a medical issue with a pregnancy abortion should be accessible at any point utilizing the least invasive procedure appropriate for that point of the pregnancy. A healthy woman can have another child at a later time. Preserving health is important. No woman should have to suffer to the brink of death because a pregnancy went wrongly.

As to elective abortions, sooner the better.
