I don’t think you are fully grasping the analogy that Fred and Spider-Pig are saying. Nobody reasonable is saying that there would be another Holocaust if Trump were to be elected again. What they are saying is that Trump has expressed intrigue in the methods used by dictators to govern by unilateral decree and he has made no secret of wanting to target those whom he has perceived as having wronged him. If you could go back 90+ years and had the opportunity to stop the rise to power of Hitler, who had previously made his intentions clear in Mein Kampf, would you? Once again, they are not saying a repeat of the Holocaust is coming, but Trump with nothing to lose because he can’t be elected again in 2028 if he wins in 2024 could seriously upend our Constitutional system. |
