Considering Trump had the second highest vote total EVER by approximately 4,000,000 votes over third place and over 12,000,000 more votes more than any other non-Trump Republican (George W. Bush in 2004 was a little over 62,000,000 voters) it is no surprise he had the highest black vote of any Republican.By bringing them out I did not mean just on Election Day, I am talking about bringing them out to vote in the election any method legally allowed. Even though I always voted on Election Day since as long as I was able to do so (when I was in college over five hours away from home and classes were not canceled for Election Day I voted absentee), I did vote early and hand delivered my ballot to the local Board of Elections in 2020 as I was concerned about what the turnout would be on Election Day because at my designated voting location the average age of the poll workers is about 90 and the people voting are not much younger so even when there is a short line it takes forever because they don’t understand how to use the iPad system. |
