The checks and balances worked during Trump’s first term, but in any future term he will push them over. He will put only cronies in all of the executive branch positions, and as the impeachment showed (the second one), Congress would be unable to push back.And, are you serious? Do you not remember Ben Carson? Or Betsy DeVos? The illegals are “showing up” at the Port Authority courtesy of Greg Abbott. And as for your last sentence, that is the hallmark of authoritarianism. |
