Israel is The Jewish Holy Land, and you you renounced your Judaism.

I am not Mr. Spider-Pig but your ignorance of modern Israel's raison d'etre is appalling.

Israel was founded by secular Jews. The Zionist movement was founded by assimilated Jews.

The problem was that others still identified those of Jewish heritage as being Jews, regardless of their religious practices.

That's the reason the late 19th century Zionists realized that Jews needed a Jewish state but not a theocratic state.
