Buying A Green New Car

I went to buy a new hybrid car this week. This was the dealers offer:

MSRP. XXXXX.XX
Base selling price +$1600
Retro: $1615
Dealer Defined fees $212.50
Sales tax XXXX.XX
Tire management fee $12.50
Est DMV fees $249.00

So the dealer was asking more than $3400 above the MSRP for a vehicle that in a few weeks will be last years model.
