The dry cleaners have known that this was coming for a long time. I don't feel too sorry for them. Anyway the way that dry cleaners often work is to send the clothes off-site for cleaning at one of the larger facilities. The people that don't buy the new machines can always choose that as an option.

They also get a $10,000 grant from the state if they choose the preferred technology. That should be good enough for a downpayment for most successful businesses.
