Posted by ntrainride on Wed May 19 06:00:55 2021, in response to Ocasio-Cortez sez, posted by Train Dude on Tue May 18 12:46:51 2021. boy oh boy would i LOVE to have an honest, free wheeling discussion wit dis broad on any specific point she espouses or even on the general thrust, so to speak...of her p o.v.en español. my guess, no, my absolute certitude is, i'd her puzzled, browbeaten and diminished in ten minutes. and let it be public. i'd probably hammer on the fact that she just can't speak spanish as well as me, a deff gringo can. and i know how to do it too: goof on her in colloquial "new york" spanish that would get the puerto ricans and domincans in the audience laughing their hispanic asses off at her perplexed looks. as a finish to the debacle i would order a drink...in spanish of course. |
