I do see it as genetic too.Look at women like Joan Walsh and Maureen Down and Kathy Griffin. They all say they grew up in a very "Irish-Catholic" conservative household and went to Catholic school. In each case their upbringing put them on the path to a conservative lifestyle but it's in their DNA to be progressive. This is seen in many white northern European ethnic groups. |
