Posted by mambomta on Wed Dec 6 11:21:01 2006, in response to Re: New York is doomed - more proof, posted by GP38/R42 Chris on Wed Dec 6 11:09:00 2006. just like Los Angeles has the ordacity to call the Anaheim Angels the "Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim", which would be akin to calling something in Suffolk county the "New York XXXXX of Babylon"New York XXXXX of Babylon would be completely accurate unless Babylon or Suffolk County succeeds from the State of NY. I'm not familiar with California so I cannot comment on the Angels thing. |
