I would argue that being an Attorney General or DA requires a lot of executive experience. A lot of the female Democrats who have served as Governor are white. Grisham is an exception, but she wasn’t as long in the House of Representatives before being Governor. It is not just tenure that matters, it is what they have done. Bernie Sanders had a long tenure in the Senate but I definitely did not want him. Little actual policy accomplishments and what he has advocated for I strongly disagree with.
