Between comedians ignoring PC norms, "get woke go broke" being true more often than not, and this virus making all that PC nonsense seem petty, Political Correctness is on its death bed. Another big part of this is "woke" media outlets going bankrupt and failing... it was on a downward spiral before, but now that advertising revenue has plummeted any that were still on venture capital are underwater and will be bankrupt by June. The irony is that because so many brands refused to advertise on politically incorrect right wing news/commentary sites, they were forced to develop paid subscriber revenue streams and thus are largely insulated from the sudden drop in ad prices. |
