As the number of coronavirus patients continues to skyrocket, there will come a time when the patient population exceeds the number of available medical personnel and equipment by several factors. At that point, social triage will become a reality. Senior citizens will be among the first to be denied lifesaving resources, right along with the marginalized segments of society.You're in just as much trouble as I am, if you contract this virus and need critical care. |
