That's not the case here.

But it would be very close, if Bezos exerted editorial control over WaPo, which he doesn't.

This involves artificially inflating the price of an owned stock preventing the price of an owned stock from falling through false and misleading positive statements, in order to sell the cheaply purchased stock at a higher price than would otherwise be possible.
