No, the impeachment is about a President of the United States abusing the powers of his office to influence the outcome of an election, by soliciting a foreign power to smear his political rival in exchange for military aid that had already been approved by Congress. There is overwhelming evidence of this. In so doing, Trump severely compromised the integrity of his office, and undermined public confidence in our electoral process. Such criminal conduct is so egregious that we as a nation, cannot afford to wait for another election to remove Trump from office. |
