Apparently President Trump committed a crime, and it's Congress' responsibility to take him to task for it, or at least try. That's how checks and balances work. I would find it hugely remiss if they didn't try, because that would essentially mean they would be giving him carte blanche to do whatever he wants. If that happens, then we are truly heading for a dictatorship. |
