Most liberals would be surprised that Canada isn't anymore welcoming of immigrants than the US. The fact that they don't have tens of thousands of people camping at their border and sneaking across is due to their geography, not their welcoming nature. They have a treaty that disallows them from giving asylum to immigrants that pass through the US. |
