Many Protestants doubled down on anti-science though. All the creationists / earth is 6800 years old folk are Protestants. The Vatican banned creationists ("intelligent design") from an evolution thing they were holding a decade ago, during Benedict II's reign (the most conservative Pope for the past 70ish years). |
