Taking a step back, there is no waste though. Democracies fail, and we're a republic of states. And we're not even supposed to have a federal government that is so strong that a funding shut-down means tourists get arrested for taking pictures of Jellystone park, or police kick people out of their houses.That's really it. And no matter how many insane dream ideas I hear from people who want 100% voter participation, I see people when I look out the window. 100% of the people voting is a disaster on it's face. Disaster Per Se. |
