It's not an assessment or prediction of who you'd personally vote for. It's a statistical average of people that share certain similarities without asking any political questions.People that read the NYT and take the quiz skew liberal, so it's going to be wrong for a lot of their religious readers. And going from +18 one way to +28 the other is pretty decent. Neither are all that far from zero and substantiates that religious Jews do make choices on both sides of the aisle, just lean more one way. Regarding not asking if you're secular or religious, isn't the second question "Are you religious"? |
