And here's what I was waiting for...Science is our search for knowledge, and guess what, sometimes, what we think we know as established "fact", isn't exactly correct, if not outright wrong. Like poor old Pluto, for example. There are kids just about to graduate 8th grade and start at high schools who never knew Pluto as a planet. for almost 80 years, "Pluto is the 9th planet" was a "FACT" proven by "SCIENCE". Till it wasn't any more. Life calls Mulligans on "facts" all the time. Yes, genetically, I am a male. There is no arguing that. But my mind, how I think of myself, I am female. |
