It's less about acceptance, and more understanding.case in point, my 91 year old grandfather, who is going to have a hard time processing his only "grandson" is really a granddaughter. He just doesn't understand the world. I sometimes think he stopped processing change around 1970. He also suffers from "Prince Phillip Syndrome", the lack of filter between brain and mouth. |
