The same can be said about Zimmerman (he probably could have been proven guilty of manslaughter if the prosecutor hadn't first under-reached and then over-reached).Prosecutorial mistakes happen. If it's part of life for Zimmerman, it's part of life for Smollett. My feeling is both are equally unfortunate and both run the risk of a future injustice someday. |
