The following Republicans have all voted AGAINST back pay for federal employees:Paul Gosar Chip Roy Glenn Grothman Andy Biggs Justin Amash Ted Yoho Thomas Massie There's no real guarantee that back pay will be returned to these employees (as it must b voted on and carried, plus the current shutdown is indefinite), nor are many federal government workers able to set aside "3-6 months of liquid assets" with today's cost of living. That doesn't mean they've "mismanaged" their lives, it means their wages don't allow for anything else but necessities. |
