The DC-8 is one classic airliner I missed out on. I was lucky enough to have 2 flights on a 7074/25/73 ORD-IAH on AA 5/16/75 JFK-ORD on TW Ironically, both return flights were on 727s. JFK-ORD seemed to be a short hop for a 707, I suspect that the plane continued to the west coast (LAX or SFO). Based on the time we arrived in Chicago, there was enough time for a late arrival at LAX/SFO, gaining 2 hours. |
