Why do you presume I know what he's thinking? I only go by the stuff he's posting that you bring here to read. He's talking about the character of Uncle Tom, who's bandied around as a phony stereotype by blacks who are racist—to wit someone who is indeed subservient and obsequious towards his white master. However, someone who was truly so would not have died to protect escaped slaves, as happened in the book; he would have revealed their location. |
