Posted by GP38/R42 Chris on Tue Oct 3 12:42:28 2006, in response to Re: Who the hell shoots up an Amish school!?, posted by Newkirk Plaza David on Tue Oct 3 12:21:11 2006. peaking of which, the "Psycho" shower scene took over a week to shoot footage that lasted in under a minute.And it was done from many many camera angles to get the effect of fear, and in all that horror, never once do you see a knife puncture the skin. Sometimes your imagination can make something much scarier than it is even presented, and that's what happened with that famous scene. And by the way....speaking of "food", in that scene, all the "blood" going down the drain was actually brown chocolate syrup, which Alfred Hitchcock determined would look more like real blood when filmed in black and white. |
