I disagree....a firearm allows the person who wants to do harm to do evil deeds from afar w/o the intimacy of hand-to-hand combat or using a knife. Rarely do you get a lunatic using a knife to take out several people...Cowards use guns to do the kinds of acts like these school shootings. You never see a nut with a knife unless it is in a case of a heated argument a la domestic disputes and in some rare 'going postal' incidents. |
