He was on the 98th fl of the North Tower. It would seem his demise was fairly quick considering where the first plane hit. No remains were found until six months later when the NYC ME calls my mom saying that they "found a piece of him". What was recovered was a 6" piece of forearm. I guess the rest of him is in that landfill in Staten Island. This was recovered thanks to a DNA match. Thats all that was left. The remains were cremated & presented to his wife & 3 kids by the NYPD, in full dress uniform & white gloves. The remains were contained in a small tin equivelent in size to an Altoids container.The following year, they named the street where he lived in Bayside after him shown in the pic. Haven't been there in several years so I'll assume its still there. I apologize for rambling. I'm done now, until next year.
