Unlike with Obama, there is a non-negligible possibility that Trump will want to be president past 1/20/25. The problem is that Republicans are so in Trump's thrall that they might go along with it. The likelihood is small but non-zero. It's something to worry about but not too much at this point.

There's also the issue of his reaction if he loses the 2020 election and his Red Hats believe him when he will (without question) claim that it's rigged.

Our Constitution, having many positive aspects, is nevertheless defective and needs improvement.
